Detection is the hard half. Classification is only useful once something gets caught at all — and today nothing does, because nobody types “this is a comeback” into a field that does not exist.

Why this matters on an engine rebuild
A comeback on a brake job costs an afternoon. A comeback on a rebuilt engine costs the block, the machining, the parts and the labour twice over — and it is the kind of job this shop is known for.
The rear main seal on the Bronco estimate costs $18.60 and takes ten hours to replace once the engine is back in the vehicle. That single line in the recipe exists because of a comeback somebody had years ago.
This is the link between three modules that currently have nothing to do with each other: the comeback log teaches the recipe, and the recipe prevents the next comeback.
